New parent

Set up your PowerSchool account

For families who have never had a Parent Portal account at a Diocese of Arlington school. Request your child's Access ID below, then create your own login.

Step 1 — Request your child's Access ID

The email goes to the parent address on file, and only when it matches the student's date of birth in our records. Access information is never shown on this page.

Step 2 — Create your account

  1. Go to arlingtondiocese.powerschool.com/publicOpen it in any web browser.
  2. Click the Create Account tabThen the Create Account button underneath it.
  3. Make your own username and passwordNo @ sign, no spaces, no apostrophes. This is what you will sign in with from now on.
  4. Link your studentUnder Link Students to Account, enter the Student Name, Access ID and Access Password from your email, then choose your relationship.

Step 3 — The phone app (optional)

The PowerSchool Mobile app uses the same username and password as the website.

Set the website up first — the app cannot create an account.

Adding a second child later?

Do not create another account — add them to this one. That is on the returning parent page.

Access email not arriving? If the access email never arrives, or PowerSchool will not accept the Access ID, submit a ticket and we will sort it out.
