Student SJS Google Account
Google Login Challenge Recovery Email & Phone
When your child signs into their SJS Google account at home, Google may ask for an extra verification code. This page lets a verified parent update the recovery email or phone number used for that login challenge.
When would I need this?
Google usually asks for extra verification the first time a student signs in on a new home device, after a password change, or when something about the sign-in looks unfamiliar.
Request an update if:
• Your phone number or email address has changed.
• The verification code is going to an email or phone that is harder to reach.
• You are not receiving codes at all.
What happens next
The portal verifies the parent email and student date of birth against school records. If the information matches, the Google login challenge recovery email or phone is updated automatically when Google Admin access allows it, or SJS IT reviews the request.
Tickets are monitored Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:30 PM during school hours. Requests submitted outside those times are saved in the SJS IT Self-Service Desk and reviewed the next school support day.
