← Parent Schoology Access

Returning parent

You already have a Schoology parent account

Your login carries over from year to year. Sign in with the email and password you set up when you first created the account.

One account covers every child.

There is no need to create a second one. A duplicate account shows only one child, so to follow a new child, add them to the account you already have. If a second one has been created, submit a ticket and we will merge them for you.

Forgot your password

SJS resets Schoology passwords — not Schoology. Do not use a "forgot password" link; submit a ticket and we will reset it for you and confirm by email.

  • Tell us the parent email on your Schoology account
  • Tell us your child's name and grade
  • We reply with the reset during school support hours

Adding another child

Add them to the account you already have:

  1. Sign inWith your existing parent email and password.
  2. Account Settings → Add ChildTop-right menu.
  3. Enter that child's Access CodeRequest it with the form here if you do not have it.

Each child has their own code — a sibling's code will not work.

Request an Access Code for another child

Only needed to add a child. If you are just signing in, you do not need this.

Codes are issued once school starts. If one is not ready yet we open a ticket and email you as soon as it is.

Your child signs in a different way.

On a computer, students open Schoology from the SJS Bookmark Bar in Chrome and click Log in with Google — no code, no separate password. The one exception is the Schoology app on a tablet or phone, which cannot use Google sign-on and needs a real Schoology username and password. SJS holds thosesubmit a ticket and we will send your child’s app login. Your parent account and their student account are two different things.

Missing a child, or a code that will not work? A child missing from your account, a code that will not work, or you think you have a duplicate account.
